Dicho proyecto se llama Red Compartida<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> y consiste en crear una red p\u00fablica de telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil de cuarta generaci\u00f3n que servir\u00e1 a zonas alejadas del pa\u00eds\u00a0donde Telcel, Telef\u00f3nica M\u00e9xico y AT&amp;T \u2013 las cuatro principales operadoras de telecos sitas en M\u00e9xico- no llegar\u00e1n nunca a prestar servicio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta infraestructura tendr\u00e1 car\u00e1cter mayorista, de tal forma que Red Co<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1035 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/red-compartida.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"64\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 223px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 223\/64;\" \/>mpartida ser\u00e1, de facto, un operador p\u00fablico que dar\u00e1 servicio a otras operadoras, ya sean de telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil, fija u OMV que, a su vez, llevar\u00e1n los servicios a los usuarios finales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Red Compartida tiene la meta de proporcionar cobertura al 92% del territorio (98% de la poblaci\u00f3n) empleando para ello 60 MHz de la banda de los 700 MHz y alrededor de 12.000 estaciones base. Bajo esta infraestructura, el gobierno mexicano espera que el 70% de los hogares del pa\u00eds contraten un servicio de Internet de banda ancha (1 Mb de subida y 4 Mb de bajada) y que las tarifas disminuyan hasta un 45% en 2018, en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o 2015<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Secretar\u00eda de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT), organismo gubernamental responsable de Red Compartida, considera que ser\u00e1 necesaria una inversi\u00f3n de 7.500 millones para la construcci\u00f3n de esta infraestructura, aunque dicho coste correr\u00e1 a cuenta del consorcio ganador de la licitaci\u00f3n, que adem\u00e1s de aportar la totalidad de los recursos econ\u00f3micos para desarrollarla, deber\u00e1 pagar derechos de uso y aprovechamiento del espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico y un 1% de sus ingresos anuales a la Tesorer\u00eda del Estado de M\u00e9xico.
