De hecho, el GCI, tal y como se le conoce por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s, es un \u00edndice sint\u00e9tico muy conocido y ampliamente nombrado en art\u00edculos acad\u00e9micos<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"0000000000013a230000000000000000_310684\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-0000000000013a230000000000000000_310684-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-0000000000013a230000000000000000_310684-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\"> <br><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%8Dndice_de_Competitividad_Global\">https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%8Dndice_de_Competitividad_Global<\/a><\/span>. As\u00ed, en el \u00edtem que versa sobre los esfuerzos de las empresas en la formaci\u00f3n y desarrollo\nde los empleados nos colocamos en un indigno septuag\u00e9simo puesto, junto a Kuwait\ny Montenegro. En cuanto a las habilidades digitales de la poblaci\u00f3n, para\nencontrar a Espa\u00f1a debemos bajar hasta el puesto 71, junto a Egipto y Serbia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"671\" height=\"93\" data-src=\"http:\/\/ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/The-Global-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-310713 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/The-Global-7.jpg 671w, https:\/\/www.ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/The-Global-7-300x42.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/The-Global-7-640x89.jpg 640w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 671px) 100vw, 671px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 671px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 671\/93;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificado\">Los\nresultados, tanto globales con en detalle, no dejan lugar a dudas: Espa\u00f1a est\u00e1\nperdiendo el pulso digital, instal\u00e1ndose muy por debajo de lo que nos deber\u00eda\ncorresponder por el tama\u00f1o de nuestra econom\u00eda. Esta falta de implicaci\u00f3n en la\ntransformaci\u00f3n digital lasta nuestra competitividad, lo que devendr\u00e1 en\nconsecuencias econ\u00f3micas muy graves.<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para remediarlo, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>UGT<\/strong><\/span> propone una amplia bater\u00eda de medidas, como una mejora de las <strong>Pol\u00edticas Activas de Empleo<\/strong> (implantaci\u00f3n masiva de cursos de formaci\u00f3n para lacapacitaci\u00f3n TIC para trabajadores\/as para personas en situaci\u00f3n de desempleo) <strong>o sobre Empresas Digitales<\/strong> (proporcionar incentivos o subvenciones directas a las empresas para la impartici\u00f3n de formaci\u00f3n en nuevas tecnolog\u00edas a sus empleados en horario
