En este caso, la NARB (<em>National Advertising Review Board<\/em>, Junta Nacional de Revisi\u00f3n de Publicidad), le ha prohibido al operador Comcast seguir afirmando que su conexi\u00f3n a Internet es la m\u00e1s <em>\u201cr\u00e1pida de los EEUU<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a>\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Efectivamente, Comcast<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>, el primer operador de cable estadounidense, usaba en sus anuncios afirmaciones tales como \u201cX<em>FINITY [producto comercializado por] Comcast ofrece el Internet m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de Estados Unidos\u00bb, \u00abXFINITY Internet ofrece el WiFi m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido en casa\u201d o \u00abM\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que la competencia.\u00a0FiOS [servicio de Internet de su rival Verizon] simplemente no puede mantenerse al d\u00eda\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Precisamente esta \u00faltima afirmaci\u00f3n deton\u00f3 la queja de Verizon, que impugn\u00f3 las<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-48085 alignright lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/logo-comcast.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"75\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 201px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 201\/75;\" \/> afirmaciones publicitarias de Comcast. El an\u00e1lisis por parte de la NARB fue muy contunde: la cablera debe dejar de hacer esas aseveraciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NARB se\u00f1al\u00f3 en su decisi\u00f3n<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> que Comcast y Verizon ofrecen a los consumidores diferentes niveles de servicio dependiendo de factores como la velocidad contratada y que se debe tener en cuenta el precio del servicio, que aumenta a medida que la velocidad contratada es mayor.
