{"id":762,"date":"2017-02-06T12:47:47","date_gmt":"2017-02-06T11:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ugtcom.h2301842.stratoserver.net\/wordpress\/wordpress\/?p=762"},"modified":"2017-11-03T10:23:13","modified_gmt":"2017-11-03T08:23:13","slug":"762-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ugtcomunicaciones.es\/wordpress\/762-2\/","title":{"rendered":"European Broadband Awards 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Comisi\u00f3n Europea celebra anualmente un evento para para premiar aquellos proyectos que destacan por su excelencia en la construcci\u00f3n de infraestructuras de banda ancha en el entorno de la Uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los <em>European Broadband Awards<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/em> son premios abiertos a todo tipo de proyectos, independientemente del tama\u00f1o, la ubicaci\u00f3n o las tecnolog\u00edas utilizadas. El concurso se dirige a las autoridades p\u00fablicas nacionales, regionales y locales (municipios), as\u00ed como a los grandes y peque\u00f1os proyectos privados que adoptan modelos innovadores en t\u00e9rminos de inversi\u00f3n, negocio o financiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De los 66 proyectos candidatos en las 5 categor\u00edas estipuladas (Modelos innovadores de financiaci\u00f3n, negocios e inversi\u00f3n, Reducci\u00f3n de costes y coinversi\u00f3n, Impacto socioecon\u00f3mico y asequibilidad,\u00a0 Openess y competencia y Future-proof y Calidad del Servicio), pasaron a la ronda final un total 16 proyectos<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>, de los cuales dos eran espa\u00f1oles: <strong>Catalunya Connecta<\/strong><a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> y el plan de coinversi\u00f3n en FTTH entre Orange y Vodafone (<strong>proyecto APOLO-CALIFORNIA<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primero de ellos fue seleccionado como finalista por su esfuerzo en la reducci\u00f3n en las barreras de inversi\u00f3n y por prestar servicios de radio en zonas rurales, combinando inversiones p\u00fablicas (infraestructura, torres, etc.) e inversiones privadas. La selecci\u00f3n de los nuevos lugares para la infraestructura de radiocomunicaciones se realiz\u00f3 junto con los actores locales, quienes proporcionaron el suelo y los permisos para desplegar el suministro el\u00e9ctrico y las obras civiles. El jurado destac\u00f3 este proyecto como ejemplo de proyecto impulsado por un gobierno regional en cooperaci\u00f3n con autoridades locales, que contribuy\u00f3 a la reducci\u00f3n de la brecha digital y en el aumento de la competitividad de la econom\u00eda regional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el segundo caso, el jurado destaca que Orange y Vodafone coordinaron sus inversiones para evitar la superposici\u00f3n de despliegues de fibra \u00f3ptica. Con este acuerdo se consigui\u00f3 una mayor eficiencia y rapidez en el despliegue, que llev\u00f3 a la r\u00e1pida ampliaci\u00f3n de la huella FTTH en Espa\u00f1a y proporcion\u00f3 servicios de banda ancha de alta para el elevado n\u00famero de usuarios.
